For over 70 years and three generations, the Maschio family has cultivated grapes on the hills surrounding Conegliano in Veneto — one of the cradles of prosecco. Driven by a love of time spent by the sea with friends and family, and a deep respect for the Italian aperitivo tradition, a new story was born in 2020: Almare Spritz.
Almare is an authentic interpretation of the classic spritz, ready to enjoy. The base is naturally fermented wine from Glera grapes, and every aroma and botanical ingredient shares a single common thread — all sourced exclusively from Italy.
The spritz as a drink traces its origins to the late 19th century in Veneto, when Austrian soldiers found the local Italian wines too intense. They began adding a “spritz” — German for a splash — of water, creating a lighter, more approachable drink.
Classico is the starting point — and the destination. The colour of a sunset over the lagoon, the scent of citrus and ripe fruit that unfolds the moment you open the bottle.
The base is Glera with naturally selected aromas, together delivering the distinctive character of a classic Venetian spritz — nothing more, nothing less.
